Continuing the long-standing series of conferences established in 1993, the 18th German Probability and Statistics Days (GPSD) 2027 will take place at Bielefeld University from 9-12 March 2027.

The German Probability and Statistics Days are organized biannually with the support of the DMV-Fachgruppe Stochastik e.V. In 7 plenary lectures and 14 specialized sections with 14 keynote lectures and more than 300 contributed talks, the GPSD 2027 will cover the full spectrum of probability, statistics, and their applications in physics, biology, finance, insurance and data science. A Get Together with Poster Session as well as a Conference Dinner will offer opportunities to have informal discussions, deepen friendships and meet new colleagues.

The GPSD 2027 provide an important forum for presenting and discussing recent developments in probability and statistics, bringing together researchers from Germany and abroad. Situated between urban life and the nearby Teutoburg Forest, Bielefeld University provides an inviting and stimulating environment for both academic discussion and informal exchange.
